Your baby at 2 weeks
Still no baby in week 2. Toward the end of this week you ovulate: a mature egg is released and lives for about 12 to 24 hours. Sperm can survive up to five days, so sex in the days before ovulation counts.
Your body at 2 weeks
Rising estrogen thickens your uterine lining. Around ovulation you may notice clear, stretchy cervical mucus, a slight rise in basal body temperature afterward, or mild one-sided pain (mittelschmerz).
